Another donation of used candles, thanks Arlene!

Recently, a good friend of mine, Arlene, donated a bunch of her semi-used candles. Her generosity has provided us with a wonderful opportunity to repurpose these candles into beautiful new creations. Thank you, Arlene, for your thoughtful contribution!

The process of recycling candles is quite straightforward, but an experienced hand is essential. We begin by collecting and sorting the leftover wax into related colours, fragrances, wax types, hardness and other factors. This wax is then melted down and filtered several times to remove any impurities, such as old wicks, ash, dust and other debris. Once we have clean, melted wax, it can be poured into new moulds and combined with fresh wicks, colours, and fragrances to create unique and beautiful candles.

Recycled candles have their own charm and character. Each one carries a piece of its past life while being transformed into something new and delightful. By recycling candles, we not only extend the life of the wax but also contribute to a more sustainable environment. And, for us, it’s a fun and creative way to breathe new life into something old.

If you have semi-used candles lying around, consider donating them to us. We'd be very grateful! It’s a small step towards reducing waste and making our world a little greener.

Thanks to Arlene, we now have a wonderful new batch of candles ready to light up your homes! Stay tuned for updates on our recycling journey!
